If you’re looking for a way to help others during the COVID-19 pandemic, below are three organizations that are near and dear to our hearts. If you’re able, please consider donating.
Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the U.S. and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).
Training and equipping health care workers with the protective gear they need to save lives. The organization has been involved in fighting the virus on the ground in China since February and is now expanding training in high-risk countries and sending medical supplies and volunteers to some of the hardest hit cities in the U.S.
Supports schools and community organizations that are feeding children who would otherwise miss meals while schools are closed. Thus far, the organization has sent more than $5 million in emergency funding and helped local programs with their goal of serving 2.1 million meals a day.
